How do the AI features work?

They turn on only after you give permission. Semantic search, summaries, and drafts send the required text to OpenAI. Photos are not sent.

Can I use About Me without AI?

Yes. Day entries, the calendar, memories, goals, and charts work without permission to process text with AI.
